This is an announcement list, so no one else on the list will see your information.  A character name is not mandatory, but preferred.  If you don't feel comfortable sharing your character's name, simply enter "Empath" or "Guildmember," or the guild of your primary character.  (This is just to get an idea as to who the list consists of.)
